These training tools provide health and safety guidance to those involved in disaster response and cleanup activities following a catastrophic event, such as a hurricane, earthquake, flooding, oil spills, and others.
These tools, developed by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) National Clearinghouse in collaboration with the CPWR—The Center for Construction Research and Training, will help workers understand at an awareness level how to identify and control hazards pertaining to the response and cleanup activities associated with specific disasters.
